I have successfully avoided doing actual de-cluttering of my office by shopping for it! Had an adventure lugging home 70lbs of diy shelves which collapsed and broke upon completion. Lugged it all back and returned it, then invested in shelves already in one piece at twice the price. You get what you pay for. The second store also carried them to my car for me.Today, I bought a rug and a new chair and found a silly bulletin board that just happened to complement it all. My desk chair had been hopelessly low and ineffecively padded with pillows. Now I have a short barstool that is a little to tall but makes me feel so much better!
